All About Our In-Studio Retake Day

October 07, 2019 Kristal 0 Comments

Missed photo day? You're not too late!

We always provide students with two opportunities to be photographed at their school  original photo day and retake day. We know that life can get pretty hectic and you might miss both photo days, or you might not like how your original photo turned out. The good news is that we have a third (and final) photo opportunity for the 2019/20 school year. Here are the details for our in-studio retake day:

Date: November 16, 2019 from 9 am to 3 pm

How to Book: No appointments accepted  photographs will be taken on a first come, first served basis

How it Works: You must purchase a package on the day of to be photographed. We will have a dedicated customer service team member who will be taking orders. If you've already placed an order, you must bring the original package to be replaced with the new photo.

The Fine Print: All in-studio retake day photos will be sent to the school for the yearbook. However, we can not guarantee that the images will be included due to various deadlines. Students/parents must contact the yearbook team at the school to see if they can include the late photo.

Once the photos are taken, we will have your order mailed directly to your home within 2-4 weeks. Please note that all orders will incur a $6 processing fee.

Questions? Please contact our customer service team by live chatting here or send us an email at csr@artona.com. We look forward to seeing you in our studio soon!

Students love this option, since everyone will be together for the ceremony anyway!

All about Silent Night, our sensory-friendly graduation sessions

October 01, 2019 Kristal 0 Comments

It's important for us that all students feel comfortable coming in to our studios. We understand that getting photos taken might not be as fun for everyone and for those who are highly sensitive or who are feeling anxious, the experience can be overwhelming. Last year, we hosted our first Silent Night sessions to provide an accessible, sensory-friendly experience and it was a huge success! This year, we have added additional dates at multiple locations, making the experience even more accessible to students and their families.

Saturday, December 21, 2019 at JN Burnett Secondary in Richmond
Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Ecole Salish Secondary in Surrey
Saturday, January 4, 2020 at our main studio located at 353 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver

Cost: No additional fee required— just the $60 deposit like all graduation sessions.

About the Sessions: Appointments will run every hour, to allow more personalized time with our photographers, as well as reduced noise and strobe lighting in the studio. We will also have some quiet space reserved for breaks, if needed.

Who is it for: Any students or families with sensory concerns or anyone who finds the studio photography experience overwhelming is welcome.

How to book: By live chat here or by calling 604-872-7272
