Your session is booked, you’re ready to go. But how do you prepare for grad photos? How do they work? Here are the next steps after booking your appointment:
Plan your outfit. We will provide the formal graduation cap and gown, but you can decide what to wear for the casual shots. We recommend checking out our What to Wear Guide and our Pinterest for some inspiration.
Think about any props, people or pets you want to bring. Grads are welcome to take one photo with up to two other friends and/or one family photo with up to four other family members.
For props, we suggest bringing anything that's important to you, or reminds you of your student years. We've had students bring in trophies, favourite foods, books, sports gear and even costumes. As long as it's something you could bring to school, you can bring it to our studio.
For pets, we know they're members of the family and should be in your photos too. If you're planning on bringing a pet, check out our Pet Policy first.
Have your $60 deposit ready. When you arrive at your appointment, you'll need to pay a $60 deposit that can be applied to your order later. For most appointments, you can pay by cash, debit or credit. Read more about How the Deposit Works. Please note, some university students are also required to pay an additional $15 sitting fee that goes toward student services.
Follow us on social. Follow us on Instagram and TikTok to stay in touch. We share photos of real grads we photograph, plus host monthly giveaways and contests. We look forward to seeing you at your appointment! If you have any questions in the meantime, please reach out.
See you soon!
Could you make the fonts darker for the text on the instructions pages.. It is so faint that my vision has trouble reading or understanding it. Thanks.
