What to Wear for Grad Photos

Once you book an appointment, it's time to find your grad photo fit. Here is what we recommend:

Wear something that will compliment the grad gown. The formal cap and gown we provide has a V neckline, so what you wear underneath will show. If you're a male student, we recommend wearing a white collared shirt and tie. If you're a female student, we recommend wearing something with a lower neckline so nothing shows. Of course, we welcome all genders at our studios and encourage everyone to wear what makes them feel most like themselves and the most comfortable.

All black is a classic Artona look but it's not required. Lots of students choose to wear all black for a timeless, classic look but it's not a must. Lots of students wear bright colours or patterns, too.

You don't have to buy something new. Buying an #artonadress might be an option for some, but it's not required. If you do choose to buy something new, we recommend picking something you know you'll wear again. Thrift stores are also a great option that is more affordable and environmentally conscious.
